How much does a La Marzocco service cost?

These indicative workshop service estimates in Australian dollars include 10% GST:

  • Linea Micra: approximately A$473 including GST.
  • Linea Mini R: approximately A$627 including GST.
  • GS3: approximately A$572 including GST.

Indicative workshop servicing prices only. On-site call-out, travel and travel-time charges are not included. For on-site servicing, provide your service address so the provider can confirm availability and quote these charges separately before booking.

Use these figures for budgeting, not as a fixed-price package or a quote for every part below. They reflect workshop guidance reviewed on 15 October 2026. Your machine's age, condition, version and required work can change the price. Confirm parts, labour, any transport or call-out charges, and the total including GST with the service provider.

In-home servicing is quoted separately. La Marzocco Home's Australian service page gives a general annual-service estimate of $500–$600 and says pricing varies with location, model, age and condition. Ask for a quote for your particular machine.

How to book an official service in Melbourne

  1. Open the La Marzocco Home Australia service request form.
  2. Have your model, serial number, water-supply details and service history ready. For a GS3, identify whether it is AV or MP.
  3. Choose your service type and preferred location. La Marzocco asks owners to use the same form for Melbourne or Sydney showroom drop-off enquiries; in-home requests are connected with a service partner.
  4. Describe any symptoms and request confirmation of scope, price and lead time before proceeding.

Booking an on-site visit? Provide your service address so the provider can confirm availability and quote call-out, travel and travel-time charges separately. These charges are excluded from the workshop estimates above; confirm the full on-site quote before booking.

The form starts an enquiry. The service team confirms arrangements and availability.

What does professional maintenance involve?

A service combines checks of the machine with replacement of wear parts and rebuilding of applicable assemblies. A replacement means fitting a new part; a rebuild renews the relevant internal components using a suitable kit. Inspection means checking condition or operation and deciding what further work is needed.

The model lists below follow the La Marzocco Australia service references supplied by Drew Handcock on 15 October 2026. They distinguish work at each service, 12-month work and 24-month work. These are regional service references: older US checklists can use different intervals. Your technician should confirm the current plan for your serial number, use and condition.

Parts listed as diagnostic or contingency stock are not automatically annual replacements. A 24-month replacement recommendation is preventive maintenance, not a prediction that the part will fail after two years. Internal electrical, boiler and pressurised-system work belongs with a qualified technician.

  • Shower screen: F304001: the screen at the brew group; quantity 1.

12-month work

  • Steam rebuild kit: B1012R: rebuild the steam assembly, quantity 1.
  • Safety valve 2.5: B2042: replace, quantity 1.
  • Basket spring: L113LM: replace the spring retaining the basket, quantity 1.
  • Tank-to-pump PVC tubing: T3003: replace; the reference specifies 500 mm, quantity 1.
  • SMA rebuild kit: LM1037: rebuild every 12 months, quantity 1. The technician should confirm the fitted assembly and kit compatibility.

24-month work

  • Three-way brew valve, 0.6 mm: B400701: replace, quantity 1.
  • Micra expansion valve: B2041: replace, quantity 1.

Other items such as copper washers, brew-element O-rings, electronic boards and the pumping body appear as diagnostic or spare-stock items in the reference. The pump entry specifically requires a serial-number check. They are not all scheduled for annual replacement.

Linea Mini R maintenance parts

Replace at each service

  • Group gasket: H3018: quantity 1. H3018 is the part number in the service checklist; the Linea Mini R V1 parts catalogue (figure 9) lists H3004/H3007, so have an approved technician confirm the correct gasket for your serial number and fitted group before ordering.
  • Shower screen: F304001: quantity 1.

12-month work

  • Steam rebuild kit: LM1053: rebuild, quantity 1.
  • Safety valve 2.5: B202501: replace, quantity 1.
  • Solenoid plunger: L100/H: rebuild the relevant assemblies; the reference lists quantity 3.
  • Basket spring: L113LM: replace, quantity 1.
  • Tank-to-pump PVC tubing: T3003: replace; the reference specifies 600 mm, quantity 1.
  • SMA rebuild kit: LM1037: rebuild every 12 months, quantity 1; confirm the fitted assembly.

24-month work

  • Expansion valve: B2041: replace, quantity 1. This interval is stated even though the item sits among parts a technician may bring for a longer-distance visit.

Other listed items, including the restrictor, solenoid coil, Wi-Fi board, pump, heating elements and temperature probes, are diagnostic or contingency spares. Their presence does not mean they all need replacing. Ask which replacements, rebuilds and checks are included in your quote.

GS3 maintenance parts: AV and MP

Replace at each service

  • Group gasket: H3004: quantity 1.
  • Shower screen: F304001: quantity 1.

12-month work

  • Steam tap kit: B1004k: rebuild, quantity 1.
  • Basket spring: L113LM: replace, quantity 1.
  • Tank-to-pump PVC tubing: T3003: replace; the reference specifies 450 mm, quantity 1.
  • Solenoid plunger: L100/H: replace; the list gives quantity 3, with quantity 2 for MP.
  • Safety valve 2.5: B202501: replace, quantity 1.

Version-dependent 12-month work

  • Older MP paddle rebuild kit: SA60001K: the list specifies replacement every 12 months for MP machines before serial number 7604; quantity 1.
  • Vacuum-valve O-ring: H1001; Teflon pad: B3001; shaft: B201301: the list specifies 12-month replacement, quantity 1 each, but flags these as variant-dependent. Check machine age and fitted valve.
  • SMA rebuild kit: LM1037: listed for a 12-month rebuild, quantity 1, in the same variant-dependent section. Do not assume it is required in addition to every older valve component.
  • Conical-valve upper O-ring: H1018; lower O-ring: H1006: replace every 12 months, quantity 1 each, for GS3 MP machines with the conical-valve arrangement identified from serial number 7604 onward. Have the technician verify the applicable configuration.

24-month work

  • Expansion valve: L140CLM: replace, quantity 1.

The conical-valve section also lists fibre gasket L103B, group-cap O-ring L103A and conical-body/adaptor O-rings H101001 as contingency items, without a fixed replacement interval in that section. Other entries such as displays, boards, pump and heating elements are spare-stock or diagnostic items. They are not a blanket annual replacement package.

Annual servicing and your manufacturer's warranty

La Marzocco Home's June 2025 Australian warranty document makes annual servicing by a La Marzocco approved technician a condition of its 24-month manufacturer's warranty. Other conditions cover installation, cleaning, suitable filtered water and correct use. Keep your purchase invoice and service records, and check the terms supplied with your machine.

The current Australian warranty page lists 24-month parts and labour cover for the Linea Micra and Linea Mini. For GS3, it distinguishes direct La Marzocco Home purchases (parts and labour) from purchases through a Home partner (parts cover). Confirm what applies to your purchase.

Manufacturer warranty conditions do not remove your separate Australian Consumer Law rights. The ACCC's warranty guidance explains this distinction. An individual claim depends on its circumstances.

Frequently asked questions

Are all the listed parts included in the indicative service price?

No fixed inclusion list is promised here. Ask the provider which replacements, rebuilds, inspections and labour are included, whether 24-month work is due, and what additional repairs would cost.

Can I use these part numbers to order a kit myself?

Use them to discuss the work with your technician. Part revisions, voltage, fitted valves and serial numbers matter. In particular, the Mini R gasket reference differs from its catalogue, and GS3 MP paddle and vacuum-valve parts depend on the installed version.

Does cleaning or backflushing replace a professional service?

No. Follow your exact model's cleaning and maintenance instructions between services. Use water that meets La Marzocco's water requirements; a “filtered” label alone does not confirm that the water is suitable.

Should I wait for the next interval if something seems wrong?

Contact the service team about leaks, unusual behaviour or a change in operation rather than waiting for a date on a checklist. Do not open the machine or adjust internal valves using this guide.

Does Three Bears Coffee Studio carry out these repairs?

This page is owner education. Technical servicing and warranty assessment should be arranged with La Marzocco Home or its approved technician through the official service form.
